The Association Culturelle Islamique is proud to host an Interfaith Dialogue and Cultural Exchange Forum dedicated to fostering understanding and cooperation among diverse religious and cultural communities in Strasbourg.
Beginning at 2:00 PM, the forum will open with a welcome address outlining the importance of interfaith dialogue in promoting peace, respect, and social cohesion. Representatives from various religious traditions including Islam, Christianity, Judaism, and others will introduce their faiths’ perspectives on common values such as compassion, justice, and community service.
The core of the event will be a series of moderated roundtable discussions, where participants engage in respectful conversations on themes such as faith and social responsibility, youth engagement in faith communities, and overcoming prejudice.
Between discussions, cultural exhibits and presentations will showcase religious art, music, and literature, allowing participants to experience the richness of each tradition. Light refreshments inspired by the culinary traditions of the represented faiths will be served, encouraging informal interaction and friendship-building.
A highlight of the forum will be a joint community service planning session, where attendees collaborate to identify local social projects for cooperative action across faith lines.
The forum will close with a collective reflection and prayer for peace, emphasizing shared aspirations for harmony and mutual respect.
