Description:
Join us for a special evening of spiritual reflection and community bonding during the holy month of Ramadan. This event is designed to bring together members of the Muslim community and friends from Strasbourg for a meaningful experience centered on faith, togetherness, and cultural appreciation.

The evening will begin at 6:30 PM with a welcome reception in the main hall, where attendees can meet, greet, and enjoy light refreshments. From 7:00 PM, there will be a guided session on the significance of Ramadan, exploring the spiritual, social, and cultural dimensions of fasting and self-discipline in Islam. This session will be led by our guest scholar, who will offer insights into how Ramadan fosters empathy and community spirit.

At 8:30 PM, as the sun sets, we will gather for the Iftar meal—the breaking of the fast—shared by all attendees. The meal will include traditional dishes representing the diverse culinary heritage of the Muslim world, carefully prepared by volunteers from our community. This part of the evening is more than just dining; it is a celebration of generosity, gratitude, and unity.

After the meal, participants are invited to stay for a discussion circle where members can share personal Ramadan experiences, reflections, and hopes for the future. This will be an open forum encouraging dialogue, questions, and the sharing of stories to deepen community bonds.

The event will conclude at 10:30 PM with collective prayers and a moment of gratitude. This gathering offers a unique opportunity to connect spiritually and socially, emphasizing the values of compassion and fellowship that Ramadan embodies.

We welcome everyone, whether you observe Ramadan or are interested in learning more about Islamic culture and practices. The event is free and open to the public, but space is limited to ensure a comfortable environment. We encourage early arrival to secure your place.
